Ocean freight

Ocean Freight via Aqaba Port — FCL & LCL

Full-container and consolidated sea freight into and out of Aqaba, Jordan’s only seaport, with inland trucking to Amman and across the Kingdom.

FCL and LCL explained

FCL (full container load) gives you an entire container — usually 20ft or 40ft — and is the better value once your volume fills most of the box. LCL (less than container load) shares a container with other shippers, so you pay only for the cubic metres you use, at the cost of extra consolidation and deconsolidation time.

Break-bulk and out-of-gauge cargo handled case by case

Aqaba to Amman inland leg

Most cargo entering Jordan by sea continues by road roughly 330 km north to Amman and the industrial zones around it. We arrange the trucking, the port release and the customs formalities as one movement, so the container is not sitting at the port accruing demurrage.

Documents you will need

Sea freight documentation errors are the most common cause of delay at the port. We review your paperwork before arrival and flag anything missing.
